Five years ago today, I became the luckiest man alive. (I can think of several people that will disagree with me. And well they should, as they have wonderful partners, but I still think I’m luckier.) For five years ago today, Ronni followed through on her acceptance of my marriage proposal.
I cannot believe we’ve been married for five years. In a way, it seems like it was just yesterday. In another way (a good way), it seems like we’ve been married forever.
We didn’t do much today… Dinner with Ronni’s parents (who are in town visiting) and then a repeat viewing of Iron Man. It was a very pleasant evening.
I’m just lucky to have found a person who is so patient and understanding of me an my quirks. It’s nice having a best friend, a lover, and a partner all in one. And that is why I’m the luckiest man alive.

Some might say you’d be pressing your luck, but I think you should consider taking on some more quirks.
