What I find troubling is how many of the ones I hated I still remember. I think this is also right about the time I stopped liking Madonna. (I think, if I’m being honest, I liked “Like a Prayer” but not “Express Yourself.”) I was working at a radio station for part of this year, so I heard some of these songs far too much. And, working on the station’s alternative show introduced me to some of this music that I still like. (Some of the things bolded in that list I don’t like now, in case you were wondering.) Some of this stuff, even while I recognize the artist, I just can’t recall the song…
And this reminded me of Midge Ure and Ultravox! Now I have to buy some off of iTunes! Heh…
